CONCERT REMINDERS- 6th, 7th and 8th grade concert bands

DATE- Thursday, May 15, 2008

PLACE- Haines Middle School Gym

TIME- 6;30 P.M. ARRIVAL
7:00 pm Perform

DRESS- – Black pants, black shoes, black socks,
Solid shirt of blue, green, brown , black or white

Reporting Places at 6:30- 4A 6th Grade band – Choir Room 153
4B 6th Grade band – Orchestra Room 156
7th Grade band – Band Room 155
8th Grade band – Gym – center set- up

7th Grade Band quarter test must be completed by May 23rd. It consists of Bb, Eb, F, Ab, Db, Gb, C, G, and chromatic scale.

Your final playing test is all 12 major scales. This needs to be played by May 23rd.

The end of the quarter is coming quickly and therefore the final assignments coming due as well.

Notespellers- Lessons 21-26 are due Friday May 16th.
The final quarter playing test is just 5 scales - concert Bb, Eb, F and Ab major scales and chromatic scale.
Also- don’t forget about the weekly practice reports!!!!!
