Summer Band/Orchestra/Jazz will be July 7-18 at St. Charles North. Information will be coming home soon. For the first time, we will be able to register and pay online for Summer music!!! The district website should have a link to the registration soon. We will update our website and post a link as soon as it becomes available.
Have you ever played a band instrument? - Then you are invited to play in our annual Band-A-Rama. Whether you played just in Junior high or all the way through college, come over on Tuesday May 27th to St. Charles North High School. Kids of all ages (10 years old-80) come together and play some easy level music and enjoy playing in a large mass band. We start the rehearsal at 4:30, have pizza at 6:00 and then do a performance at 7 pm. Need an instrument? We can get you one. Want the music ahead of time? Contact us and we will be getting the music out in mid May. The only cost is the price of the pizza. We average about 250-300 performers each year. Come on out!!!!
The 7th grade band quarter test will consist of
Bb, Eb, F, Ab, Db, Gb, C and chromatic scale, plus page 12 Scale Pattern 1 from the book. Percussionists need to also play page 69 (sheet copied from the Maroni book).
